The Leaders Against Pain Action Network (LAPAN) was created by the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association (NFMCPA) and acts as its advocacy arm by coordinating and executing communication and events between the NFMCPA and the fibromyalgia and chronic pain conditions patient communities pertinent to local, state, national, and international government agencies and activities. Leaders in LAPAN also work in conjunction with the NFMCPA to create and disseminate position papers and policies through the media, social networking and other appropriate venues.

The Leaders Against Pain Action Network recognizes the Network members’ diverse strengths, skills, relationships, and resources which collectively help effect positive change for the fibromyalgia and chronic pain communities on local, state, and national levels. 

Vision Statement:  Restore dignity of people with chronic pain and help discover a cure for this disease

Mission Statement:  The mission of the Leaders Against Pain Action Network is to represent and advocate on behalf of people affected by fibromyalgia and chronic pain conditions on critical issues.
